Blessed Lent. The Ash Wednesday Collection will be for the annual
Collection to Aid the Church in Eastern Europe.
Bishop Seigel encourages this collection as a way to provide timely aid to
the victims of war in the Ukraine, along with other projects in the
region. In the past 30 years since the
institution of this collection, the USCCB has built strong relationships with
the bishops in the region and so will be uniquely positioned to offer critical
support to the Church in the Ukraine as it provides humanitarian assistance to
their people. Envelopes can be brought this evening to the 7 pm Mass or any
Mass
this weekend.
The tickets for the Oink, Inc fundraiser will be on sale
after all the masses this weekend. The meals can be picked up on Sunday, March
13 at St. Mary’s in Huntingburg. Sorry for the confusion from the previous
email.

Fr. Brian will be hearing confessions every Thursday during
Lent starting Thursday, March 3. 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
