Bremen Kentucky Tornado Relief Update. Meal Fundraiser
Tickets for the Oink, Inc Fundraiser will be sold this
weekend after all Masses at Precious Blood.
Tickets are $12 each. Meals include 2 meats: Grilled Chicken & Pulled Pork,
Slaw and Macaroni & Cheese. Meals can be picked up beginning at 11 am until
1 pm, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntingburg. The address is 313 N
Washington St, Huntingburg IN. If writing
a check for meals, please make checks payable to Bremen Community Tornado
Relief
Fund.
Clean up day
I just heard word that on Saturday, March 19th there
will be a caravan heading to Bremen, KY to help with clean up. All will meet at
St. Mary’s Church in Huntingburg at 7:30 am (EST). Approximate time we would
arrive home would be around 5:30 pm (EST).
Youth are welcome to participate. A permission slip will
need to be turned for youth to participate. Youth will have to bring work
gloves
& sack lunch/drink. I will be working on transportation arrangements. If
there are any adults that are willing to help chaperone and drive, please let
me
know.
It would be great if families would let us borrow rakes,
shovels.
Also, if you family would like to participate…that would be
great!
I will need to know to let the organizers know how many people
we will have helping with the clean up. Please let me know by March 12.
