Spiritual Nourishment

Dear Family,

I would like to welcome Fr Ray Brenner to the masses this weekend.  It is always great to have him visit and preside at masses at Precious Blood.  Sunday I will be at the 11 am mass at St Mary’s Ireland for the 50th anniversary of Fr Ehrbacher’s ordination to the priesthood.  Many prayers and blessings for him as he celebrates such a big spiritual milestone.

There is only a few weeks left in Lent.  There is still time to make some Lenten practices if it feels that time flew by.  We still have Stations on Friday, and confessions on Thursday.  There are also deanery penance services.  Spend some time in worship of the blessed sacrament in the adoration chapel.

One thing I could recommend for some spiritual nourishment.  Listen to some podcasts.  This Lent, I have been listening to many talks by Bishop Barron and Fr Mike Schmitz on YouTube.  I have been enjoying adding more listening to spiritual speakers as I go about my daily life.  Sometimes it is good even if they are on in the background.

In his Most Precious Blood,

Fr Brian
